Anger…when it’s Holy

Two things of anger we know from Ephesians 4:26, “Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger,

Jesus was without sin so He met these qualifications yet still read the following instances in the gospels when Jesus was angry.
Rebuke of a Disciple - Matthew 16:21-23, Mark 8:31-33
Cleansing the Temple - Matthew 21:12-17, Mark 11:15-19, Luke 19:45-48, John 2:13-25
Cursing the Fig Tree – Matthew 21:18-22, Mark 11:12-14
The Woes – Matthew 23:13-36, Luke 11:37-54
Healing on the Sabbath – Mark 3:1-5
Children in the Kingdom - Mark 10:13-16
Teaching on Offense - Luke 17:1-4
Jesus rebukes the storm – Matthew 8:23-27, Mark 4:35-41
Jesus rebukes demons – Matthew 17:14-21, Mark 1:21-28, Luke 4:31-37, Luke 9:37-43
Jesus rebukes sickness - Luke 4:38-39
What happens if your anger does not fall under these categories?  According to Ephesians 4:27, “and do not give the devil an opportunity.” NASB

God created in us the emotion of anger…we need to be sure to use it in a righteous, rather than self-righteous way.
